Midland Highway 10 Year Action Plan

Ross (between Mona Vale Road and Campbell Town)

The works

This project will improve safety between Mona Vale Road and Campbell Town. Works will include road widening, extending sealed shoulders, additional overtaking lanes, and installing flexible safety barriers to  eliminate head-on collisions.

Current situation

Community consultation is now open on concept designs for the final projects to be delivered under the Midland Highway 10 Year Action Plan.

The concept designs are now available to on our online interactive map. Public consultation has re-opened, and will remain open until 5 pm Friday 3 July.

The feedback from this consultation will help inform design decisions such as the locations of breaks in the median flexible safety barrier, turn facilities and overtaking lanes, which will then form the basis for more detailed design prior to construction.

The first round of consultation was open from 1-12 June. Consultation has been re-opened to provide the community with more opportunities to have their say.
